Sports - FCS AA - Sam Houston State University

I want it known that I went to Sam Houston State University for my Bachelors of Science, and I was interested but never actually went to any games.  Now I wish I had because unknown to the world Sam Houston is Ranked #10 in the FCS Rankings.  Last night hey beat McNeese State to make them one of only 3 undefeated teams in the FCS; Georgia Southern #1, North Dakota State #5, and Sam Houston State #10.  The new rankings come out tonight so I hope that the FCS is better at ranking than the BCS because I was under the impression that undefeated this far in the season means a lot.

Sam Houston DOMINATED UT - San Antonio, which is suppose to go be a FBS school next year in the WAC with Texas State, which Sam plays Texas State later in the season.  The Sam Houston Running-back Tim Flanders is a major candidate for the Walter Peyton Award, for those who don't know is the Heisman Trophy of FCS.  Flanders has 152 carries for 806 yards and 13 touchdowns and averaging 108 yards a game.  Not to mention an outstanding 5 touchdowns in the overtime win against New Mexico, a FBS school, in the Mountain West Conference with Boise State.  The amazing highlight above was during the Battle for the Piney Woods in Reliant Stadium Houston, TX against longtime rival Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.

I feel Sam Houston State Bearkats are ready to move up to a FBS Conference.  I would love Conference USA to take them but the rumors are that possibly the WAC is very interested.  I know UTSA and Texas State are going next year to the WAC and The rumor is Sam Houston is going in 2 years but I would rather see them in CUSA playing Texas colleges still.
